I was wondering if anyone out there has created some good art of surfing, it would be cool if you can surf and be creative!!

Surfers selling their art

Here Moz, you might find this interesting. Loose-fit which is a surf shop in North Devon, has it's own gallery space in the shop, where surfer can exhibit their work.

Surf art vs big business

This is quite interesting - it looks like the clothing maker Abercrombie and Finch, are being sued by an American surf artist for using his work - good stuff too.

Hey thanks you guys!! Recently my accounts been a pain- it wouldn't let me post comments and said that I wasn't logged on when I was, but now it's fixed. Great art, you guys done any art yourself? Or am I on my own on this? Oh well....

Wallpapers

Have you checked out the wallpapers link on the front page? We did that vector art using a program called Inkscape - do you use a computer, is any of your work surf related?

In reply to Moz, yes I do Surf Art too.

I find surfers are very creative people, and know alot who write, paint, do poetry and alot of other creative stuff, surf related of not.

Love your profile picture - take it that's one of yours? Sam's told me that you do alot of artwork from photos of surf. It reminds me of some stunning pictures that we saw in the Tongue and Groove Cafe, in Raglan, NZ - do you ever exhibit there? Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

yes thats one of mine. a bit compressed though.
Havent ever been to Raglan, dont have any of my art there, but have some coming up in a gellery in hamilton in a few weeks.
